Job Description
The incumbent contributes to the development and optimization of Air Transat's flight programs in the short and medium term (45 days and more window), including code-share agreements, while ensuring operational feasibility and schedule integrity.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of seasonal flight programs (summer and winter) in collaboration with network development teams
- Update and maintain flight schedules in operational systems (e.g., NetLine)
- Coordinate schedule adjustments and ensure their dissemination to internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and manage the update of code-share and interline programs
- Manage and optimize airport slots in accordance with IATA standards and local regulations
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to integrate operational constraints (aircraft, crew, maintenance, airport)
- Validate operational feasibility and optimize the short-term schedule (rotations, block times, connections, overall performance)
- Adapt planning based on operational hazards (delays, AOG, maintenance)
Qualifications
- Relevant diploma in air transport management, logistics, administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the airline industry (planning, scheduling, or air operations)
- Excellent adaptability in a constantly evolving environment
- Autonomy, sense of initiative, and great rigor in work execution
- Strong communication and inter-team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of aeronautical operating systems and analysis tools
- Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g., Copilot)
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and English *
*A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will frequently communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
