Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Global 8000 Program Manager, the Work Package Program Manager is responsible for flow management and its successful execution across the Canada perimeter (Mirabel and Toronto). They will ensure the daily supervision and securing of deliveries. Additionally, they will oversee flow performance management and the implementation of improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Achieve customer satisfaction by continuously improving product quality and delivering the Global 8000 center fuselage on time and on budget;
Manage the competitiveness of the Global 8000 WP within its perimeter, in accordance with financial objectives;
Manage the overall relationship with the customer through periodic governance;
Manage risks and opportunities;
Work in collaboration with all functions (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, etc.) to ensure the WPs;
Pilot the production schedule based on customer demand and the ramp-up strategy through the implementation of the Master Production Schedule (MPS);
Secure schedule adherence within its perimeter (e.g., parts availability, operations schedule adherence, customer deliveries, etc.);
Anticipate and de-risk short-term drifts within its perimeter;
Pilot the implementation of corrective actions and ensure short-term monitoring (status, owner, etc.);
Facilitate synchronization between concerned functions for daily actions and potential escalations;
Provide short-term reporting on the health status of its perimeter (status, explanations, impact, etc.) internally and to the customer;
Pilot the analysis of flow performance on its perimeter and identify medium/long-term risks and drifts (e.g., supplier OTD & OQD, operations performance, etc.);
Ensure with concerned functions that medium/long-term corrective initiatives are identified and implemented;
Support and accelerate the implementation of these initiatives by ensuring synchronization between different functions;
Manage program performance and control costs within its perimeter to meet financial objectives;
Pilot cost reduction projects, concession management, and contractual compliance;
Manage the overall relationship with the customer for their WP and integrate their feedback;
Achieve customer satisfaction by continuously improving final product quality and delivering WPs on quality, time, and cost;
Provide support for complex end-of-line deliveries;
Secure the closure of OSWs in FAL;
Support the implementation of corrective closure plans for activities exported to the customer.
Profile Sought:
Academic background: Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or industrial engineering;
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in a manufacturing or aeronautical environment;
Experience in a complex manufacturing environment;
Experience in performance analysis (KPIs) and the implementation of medium-term corrective/improvement actions;
Strong experience in stakeholder management (transverse synchronization, trade-offs, escalations);
Experience in customer relationship management;
French-English bilingualism, with an advanced level, both oral and written, due to communication with clients and suppliers.
