As a Senior Project Manager - Operations, you will lead end-to-end business process improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for engaging stakeholders, driving project plans, resolving issues, and ensuring the realization of business benefits.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and key stakeholders to identify priority processes for improvement.
  • Define initiative mandates (scope, objectives) and establish the appropriate governance framework.
  • Monitor project progress and manage change impacts.
  • Support, coach, and prioritize the activities of Process Improvement Leads.

Initiative Execution

  • Lead the definition of end-to-end project plans (timelines, approach, workshops, resources, etc.).
  • Ensure the mobilization of the required resources and teams to successfully execute initiatives.
  • Coordinate project execution to achieve expected objectives, timelines, and outcomes.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Drive proactive issue resolution and facilitate decision-making.
  • Identify potential risks that may impact project success and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support teams in solving complex operational challenges.

Benefits Realization & Performance Tracking

  • Partner with Process Owners to implement relevant KPIs required to measure performance improvements.
  • Track results and measure the benefits generated by improvement initiatives.
  • Assess project return on investment (ROI) and communicate business impacts achieved.

What do you need to be successful?

  • University degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Lean / continuous improvement within a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma tools (Black Belt certification).
  • Experience leading large-scale Lean transformations (multi-site, cross-functional environments).
  • Experience improving quality systems (QMS, audits, standardization) is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and drive change management initiatives.
  • Influential leadership skills, with the ability to engage and mobilize stakeholders without direct authority.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances.
