Quality Inspector - Storekeeper

We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry, in their search for a Quality Inspector - Storekeeper to support quality control, inventory management, and warehousing activities in a manufacturing environment.

Role and responsibilities

• Manage inventories by monitoring stock levels, recording daily transactions, and keeping computerized management systems up to date.
• Perform reception and shipping activities, including unloading deliveries, visual inspection of received goods, and validation of delivery notes.
• Conduct cyclic inventories, analyze stock discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments in management systems.
• Maintain warehouses, stores, and storage areas in a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Inspect components and assemblies to verify their conformity to internal requirements, customer specifications, and inspection and test plans.
• Ensure that products meet all quality requirements before shipment to the customer.
• Verify the accuracy, conformity, and completeness of product documentation before release.
• Conduct periodic audits and controls of processes to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to resolve non-conformities and improve processes.
• Perform any other related tasks as needed for the project.

Profile sought

• You hold a diploma in operations management, logistics, quality assurance, manufacturing techniques, or a related field.
• You have relevant experience in quality control, inventory management, warehousing, or in a manufacturing environment.
• You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and great rigor in the execution of your tasks.
• You have good organizational skills and are able to manage several priorities simultaneously.
• You work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• You master computer tools as well as operations, inventory, and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of composite material manufacturing processes is an asset.
• Experience with ISO, AS9100, or equivalent military and government standards is an asset.
• Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is an asset.
