View all the job opportunities for this companyWe support our client, a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry, in their search for a Quality Inspector - Storekeeper to support quality control, inventory management, and warehousing activities in a manufacturing environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure inventory management by monitoring stock levels, recording daily transactions, and keeping computerized management systems up to date.
- Perform receiving and shipping activities, including unloading deliveries, visual inspection of received goods, and validation of delivery slips.
- Conduct cycle counts, analyze stock discrepancies, and make required adjustments in management systems.
- Maintain warehouses, stores, and storage areas in a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Inspect components and assemblies to verify compliance with internal requirements, customer specifications, and inspection and test plans.
- Ensure products meet all quality requirements prior to shipment to the customer.
- Verify the accuracy, compliance, and completeness of product documentation prior to release.
- Perform periodic process audits and checks to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to resolve non-conformities and improve processes.
- Perform any other related task as needed by the project.
Profile Sought
- You hold a diploma in operations management, logistics, quality assurance, manufacturing techniques, or a related field.
- You possess relevant experience in quality control, inventory management, warehousing, or in a manufacturing environment.
- You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and high rigor in executing your tasks.
- You possess good organizational skills and are able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- You work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- You possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- You master computer tools as well as operations, inventory, and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of composite material manufacturing processes is an asset.
- Experience with ISO, AS9100 standards, or equivalent military and government standards is an asset.
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is an asset.
