The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Cabin System Specialist to join our Chief Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you work in collaboration with Engineering, Programme and Customer Support teams.
You will be part of the Cabin Chief Engineering team responsible for developing solutions and defining the evolution plan for the Cabin Systems.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Cabin System Specialist will be to drive the architecture definition of the cabin systems to ensure their conformity to the certification requirements as well as the programme and customer requirements for the A220.

Your challenges:
Define technical vision : Establish aircraft requirements and objectives for design modifications and new developments related to the components and systems of the Cabin (Cabin Management System CMS, In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity, In-Seat Power Supply System).
Technical Leadership : Guide, motivate and challenge internal engineering teams and external suppliers to deliver engineering solutions and modifications on schedule and budget.
Guaranty conformity and quality : Ensure delivery of engineering solutions will satisfy safety, customer and program requirements
Cross-functional Collaboration : Ensure an efficient collaboration with customer support and production teams to identify product solutions to resolve operational and manufacturing issues.
Priority Management : Collaborate with the A220 Cabin Program team to establish and monitor priorities for developments in the Cabin perimeter, to ensure alignment with the global product strategy.
Strategic Planning : Support the A220 Chief Engineer in developing product roadmap and long term product evolution plan.
Your boarding pass:
You have a Bachelor or Master University degree in Engineering or equivalent field;
At least 10 years’ experience in aerospace systems design with demonstrated experience in cabin systems development;
Ability to lead transverse technical and cross-functional teams and to challenge technical solutions;
Proven capability to present solutions and plans to senior management and customers;
Demonstrated experience in negotiating technical solutions and specifications;
Awareness of certification and airworthiness compliance process (TCCA, FAA, EASA) is an asset.
This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide). Occasional travels to other Airbus sites or at supplier facilities should be expected. seasons.
