The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Procurement Contracts specialist to join our team of lawyers dedicated to purchase contracts based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will work with internal customers (buyers) to establish strong contractual relationships with our suppliers.
You will be part of the ABPB team responsible, among other things, for drafting and assisting buyers in the negotiation of different types of contracts (supply contracts, confidentiality agreements, licenses, amendments, pre-contracts, etc.), for interpreting contractual clauses, confirming or denying the understanding of operational staff, and for determining and clarifying the rights and obligations of Airbus Canada. The team is organized to promote autonomous cross-collaboration, mutual support and collective learning.

Responsibilities
- Draft and assist in the negotiation of different types of contracts (supply contracts, confidentiality agreements, licenses, amendments, pre-contracts, etc.).
- Analyze and review contracts already signed.
- Interpret contract clauses and confirm or refute the understanding of operational staff.
- Determine and clarify the rights and obligations of Airbus Canada.
- Identify and propose contractual improvements.
Profile / Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a legal position with business-related aspects.
- Legal studies.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc.) and GSuite (Gmail, GDocs, GSheets, etc.).
- Experience in the aeronautics industry is an asset.
- Good communicator, able to work independently but able to thrive in a team.
This role may involve business travel worldwide.
