The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Certification Specialist to join our Occupant Safety team team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you where you will perform a diverse range of tasks to support cabin certification for the A220 program.
You will be part of the Occupant Safety team responsible for developing the cabin certification of the A220 program.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your challenges:
- Responsible for performing a diverse range of tasks to support cabin certification for the A220 program;
- Produce, write, and review certification test plans, test reports, and compliance reports;
- Work with DADs (Design Approval Delegates) and specialists, as well as design, integration, and support teams to ensure compliance;
- Discuss and establish compliance strategies and test programs with suppliers for our new customers;
- Recommend and lead process and performance improvements;
- Support and coordinate the review of certification deliverables;
- Participate in change management processes and interact with other functions and integration teams as needed;
- Provide support for Material Review Board (MRB) production activities;
- Participate in and manage certification activities with authorities.
Your Profile:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
- You possess 5 to 10 years experience and practical knowledge of regulatory requirements (AWM 525, 14CFR Part 25, CS 25) related to occupant safety;
- You are familiar with the design of interiors, certification, and manufacturing of commercial aircraft;
- You are well-organized;
- You enjoy challenges, are able to work under pressure, and can manage your priorities effectively;
- Knowledge and experience with CATIA V5 and Enovia is an asset;
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset;
- You have strong leadership and communication skills, enabling you to communicate with, align, and influence stakeholders;
