The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Product Development Specialist to join our team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
You will be part of the team responsible for the architecture and governance of the engineering project framework. The team is organized to promote cross-functional collaboration in an autonomous manner, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role will be to drive new product development practices throughout the life cycle and make data-driven decisions to ensure that work packages meet cost, schedule, and certification requirements.

Your challenges:
Define new technical development project practices, from design to closure, incorporating Airbus best practices;
Adapt technical guidelines and project procedures to meet specific program requirements for nomenclature, document management, and technical activity management;
Prepare communication plans and resources for technical data flow and technical governance in a multidisciplinary and international context;
Define and oversee the engineering, communication, and publication processes for project documentation;
Participate in the development of development costs, their monitoring, and compelling status reports for senior management using data tools;
Lead the identification, quantification, and mitigation of technical and program-related risks;
Ensure activities comply with aerospace quality and certification standards;
Collect and leverage lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Your boarding pass:
Engineering degree with at least 10 years of experience in the aerospace OEM industry;
Expertise in master planning for all phases of the aircraft life cycle development;
Proficiency in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control;
Proven ability to draft phase guidelines for program requirements;
Advanced skills in data analysis and modeling;
Proficiency in PMO principles and knowledge of Part 21 and AS9100 standards;
Bilingual (French and English) with the ability to present to senior management;
Process-oriented leadership capable of leading through influence.
Travel Required: <5% Domestic and International.
