AirPro SAR Services Inc., a joint venture between Airbus Defence and Space and PAL Aerospace, supports Canada's Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) program. Our mission is to keep Canada's CC295 Kingfisher fleet mission-ready to save lives across one of the largest and most challenging search and rescue regions in the world. AirPro manages Integrated Support Services (engineering, logistics, maintenance, IT systems, infrastructure, and material support) across the product lifecycle to ensure peak aircraft performance when it matters most.
As the Maintenance Program and Reliability Specialist you will be responsible for the Operator Maintenance Program for the CC295 Kingfisher aircraft. During the in-service phase, this includes analysis of reliability and maintainability information to maximize aircraft availability and identify areas for improvement. The incumbent will provide support to other AirPro support systems (Logistical Support Analysis (LSA), Technical Publications, Material, Performance Management) and ensure Main Operating Bases and the MRO have the required information and materials to perform their work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyse technical documentation, assess impact and propose changes to the Operator Maintenance Program, maintaining currency with the latest directives.
- Manage Technical Problems reported from the customer on maintenance related issues.
- Perform management and oversight of the PAL Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) to ensure 3rd line maintenance is performed, roadblocks are removed and work is completed within the agreed timeline.
- Generate MRO progress reports for internal and external distribution.
- Manage communication on status of MRO activities to all relevant stakeholders.
- Perform impact assessment for MRPs or additional work to the MRO and coordinate resources.
- Provide R&M support to other support systems (e.g. LSA, Materiel) and input in support of fleet management activities to optimize planning and manage risks.
- Collect data from aircraft fleet usage and perform reliability & maintainability (R&M) analysis of the fleet and compare results to predicted values.
- Report R&M analysis and raise applicable Technical Problems to improve R&M performance.
- Review repair reports on failed aircraft units to determine trends and provide recommendations on sparing levels.
- Generate weekly aircraft availability report.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Completion of a college diploma or undergraduate degree in a related field is required.
- 5 years in a maintenance and reliability environment is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant Aerospace Engineering experience, or Military Technician experience.
- At least 2 years of experience providing direct support to maintenance or production teams.
- Experience related to MRO/Part 145 operations.

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Aerospace Engineering degree.
- Experience with the Airbus C-295.
- Familiarity with DND programs or previous work with DND.
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, avionics, electrical and mechanical systems and/or testing.
