We are looking for a Senior Procurement Agent in Supplier Performance Management to join our ranks!

Role Summary

The Procurement Specialist - Supplier Performance Management will work in collaboration with MHIRJ departments to develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances, while maintaining partnerships to develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances,

Your contribution as a Procurement Specialist - Supplier Performance Management

• Establish and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers from a commercial and contractual perspective;
• Lead, develop and execute project-related strategies by drafting and negotiating supplier contracts to meet approved mandates defined by business requesters within established timeframes;
• Identify, analyze and realize cost reduction opportunities across all products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and develop effective internal and external professional networks.
• Support internal department requirements with appropriate complex procurement strategies while optimizing synergy opportunities within the MHI group.
• Manage supplier performance during the execution of complex initiatives and ensure that contractual obligations are met.
• Support business requesters in applying contractual remedies against material breaches and lead negotiations for any claims against underperforming suppliers.
• Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with MHIRJ procurement policies and business requirements.
• Keep records on governance and KPIs in accordance with purchasing balance scorecard objectives.
• Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes and tools

Here is what is needed to succeed:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce and law or equivalent.
• You possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience in strategic procurement and contract management, ideally in multiple products.
• You have experience in the aerospace and/or manufacturing environment, in a commercial role, an asset.
• You have exemplary negotiation skills, proven commercial and contractual experience and legal knowledge.
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and like coaching your team members.
• You are comfortable managing large-scale projects and presenting complex strategies to the senior management team.
• You possess strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• You are detail-oriented, focused and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
• You have demonstrated experience in implementing cost reduction initiatives.
• You are able to drive improvement and innovation to deliver concrete results for the organization.
• You are fully autonomous and do not require close supervision.
• You have high proficiency and are a good communicator in French and English (written and spoken).
• You possess strong knowledge in financial management.
• You can work with MS-Office, ERP/S4 Hana and Power BI.
