Configuration Management Specialist

Your challenges:

• Support the development and implementation of the vision for Configuration Management processes, respecting the strategic orientations of the company's Processes, Methods, Tools, and Data
• Lead the analysis of the current situation and identified problems or issues, in order to develop key performance criteria for solutions and ensure the performance of your processes, as well as process adherence
• Support the roadmap for the development and deployment of solutions to ensure flawless execution and an exemplary level of product safety.
• Support the development of the To-Be solution with all stakeholders - project team, operational teams, other process or sub-process managers, airbus canada leaders, regulatory authorities, etc. in order to reach new performance levels and achieve operational performance objectives without compromising safety and process robustness
• Identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the integrated development plan.

Your profile:

• You have a minimum of 10 years of teamwork experience in a changing and dynamic environment within the aerospace field;
• You have excellent skills and knowledge in configuration management in structural design and/or Cabin and/or system.
• You have strong leadership and communication skills
• You are able to simplify complex issues and summarize risks, key actions, and next steps, taking advantage of your process knowledge and network;
• You demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to share the philosophy, rules, and practices of configuration management as well as to supervise working sessions;
• You are able to develop relationships with internal stakeholders and influence external stakeholders;
• You are creative and able to elicit out-of-the-box solutions from a team if necessary;
• You are a person who shows initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and good judgment;
• You have a good knowledge of project management
