As part of the Analytics & Information Management (AIM) team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of strategic, data-driven initiatives, applying best practices in data engineering and advanced analytics.

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil and is designated as onsite.

What your day to day will look like

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-volume data applications to ingest, transform, and store data
  • Own, design and manage the end-to-end lifecycle (design, testing, deployment, maintenance) of robust data integration pipelines
  • Architect and develop complex pipelines using Apache Spark / PySpark / Python / SQL
  • Implement batch and streaming architectures in a Databricks and AWS environment
  • Translate business and analytics requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Design and deploy ETL/ELT scripts connecting various data sources and cloud solutions
  • Apply software engineering best practices (automated testing, code reviews, documentation, team standards)
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of organizational data standards

This role is designated as onsite, with regular in-person work at our facilities in Longueuil, Quebec.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Advanced expertise in developing complex solutions with PySpark on Databricks
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services
  • Hands-on experience with batch and streaming architectures
  • Solid understanding of data and analytics concepts: dimensional modeling, ELT, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
  • Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
