As part of the Analytics & Information Management (AIM) team, you will contribute to the design and implementation of strategic, data-driven initiatives, applying best practices in data engineering and advanced analytics.

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil and is designated as onsite.

What your day to day will look like

Design, develop, and deploy high-volume data applications to ingest, transform, and store data
Own, design and manage the end-to-end lifecycle (design, testing, deployment, maintenance) of robust data integration pipelines
Architect and develop complex pipelines using Apache Spark / PySpark / Python / SQL
Implement batch and streaming architectures in a Databricks and AWS environment
Translate business and analytics requirements into scalable technical solutions
Design and deploy ETL/ELT scripts connecting various data sources and cloud solutions
Apply software engineering best practices (automated testing, code reviews, documentation, team standards)
Actively contribute to the evolution of organizational data standards

This role is designated as onsite, with regular in-person work at our facilities in Longueuil, Quebec.

What do you need to be successful?

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering
Advanced expertise in developing complex solutions with PySpark on Databricks
Strong experience with AWS cloud services
Hands-on experience with batch and streaming architectures
Solid understanding of data and analytics concepts: dimensional modeling, ELT, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
