You have experience in stress engineering, you have worked in the field of aircraft structures and you wish to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!
The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a stress engineering professional to join our Stress Analysis - Cockpit and Fuselage team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will be part of a specialized group within the technical team and will provide support for the A220 aircraft programs.
Your role as a stress analysis engineering professional will be to perform static, fatigue, finite element modeling, and damage tolerance analyses of the airframe structure.
Your challenges:
You will be responsible for performing static and fatigue analyses of the airframe structure;
You will be responsible for performing finite element modeling;
You will be responsible for performing damage tolerance analyses;
You will be responsible for writing/revising certification reports;
Your tasks may include coordination with partners;
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with the Liaison, Design, Projects, and Airworthiness groups.
Requirements
Your profile:
You hold a university degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering;
You have at least eight to ten (8 to 10) years of relevant experience in qualifying the structural integrity of aircraft structures;
Good knowledge of NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA V5 and MS Office is mandatory;
Knowledge of NASGRO is an asset;
Knowledge of Google Suite is an asset;
You are autonomous and able to work within a multidisciplinary team;
You must be able to read and communicate in French and English.
