You have experience in stress engineering, you have worked in the field of aircraft structures and you want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!
The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a stress engineering professional to join our Cockpit and Fuselage Stress Analysis team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will be part of a specialized group within the technical team and provide support for the A220 aircraft programs.
Your role as a stress analysis engineering professional will be to perform static analysis, fatigue analysis, finite element modeling, as well as damage tolerance of the airframe structure.
Your challenges:
- You will be responsible for performing static and fatigue analysis of the airframe structure;
- You will be responsible for performing finite element modeling;
- You will be responsible for performing damage tolerance analyses;
- You will have the responsibility of drafting / reviewing certification reports;
- Your tasks could include coordination with partners;
- As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work in close collaboration with the Liaison, Design, Projects, and Airworthiness groups.
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering;
- You have at least eight to ten (8 to 10) years of relevant experience in structural integrity qualification of aircraft structures;
- Good knowledge of NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA V5, and MS Office is mandatory;
- Knowledge of NASGRO is an asset;
- Knowledge of Google Suite is an asset;
- You are autonomous and able to work within a multidisciplinary team;
- You must be able to read and communicate in French and English.
