These strategic programs create a need for a Structural Dynamics (Vibration) Engineer to support the design and entry into service of new products. The Engine Structural Dynamics team is responsible for the design and integration of dynamic systems throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Perform finite element analysis of shaft-housing systems
  • Define test requirements, support testing, and analyze data
  • Troubleshoot vibration issues in production and in service
  • Support integration of accessories and external components
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and Customer Services
  • Prepare and present technical reports

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree (4-7 years' experience) or Master's degree (2-5 years) in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Strong interest in vibration and dynamics
  • Good engine technical knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with finite element tools (Nastran, ANSYS)

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
