Flight Control IVV Specialist - Fly By Wire IVV Specialist

Montreal, QC (Hybrid) Full-time

Job Summary

The IVV (Integration, Verification, Validation) Specialist contributes to the integration, verification, and validation activities of simple and complex functionalities for regional and business aircraft fly-by-wire flight control systems, as well as the drone and urban air mobility sectors. They must ensure that systems comply with their applicable functional, performance, and certification requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Participates in the definition and execution of Solution Integration, Verification & Validation activities.
  • May be required to perform integration activities for our new products at customer sites.
  • Develops product data ready to be delivered for production and support.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of our products and methods.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or software engineering with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
  • Experience in the field of design and certification of embedded equipment and systems.
  • Aeronautical field / Knowledge of flight control systems or other critical embedded control systems.
  • Modeling / IVV (Simulink Matlab).
  • Spoken and written French (capable of drafting reports and communicating effectively).
  • Spoken and written English (capable of drafting reports and communicating effectively).
  • Good teamwork skills.

This position requires a good knowledge of English for drafting technical documents, interacting with, supporting, and/or providing services to international clients, employees, and/or partners, as well as foreign government authorities who do not speak French.
