Job description

We are looking for a person to play a central role in technical operations. This position is a unique opportunity for a licensed mechanic wishing to move into a strategic role, at the heart of a cutting-edge technological environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical dispatch of aircraft in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Approve MEL deviations proposed by technicians or pilots.
  • Manage critical situations (AOG, delays) and coordinate required resources.
  • Maintain constant communication with technical and operational departments.
  • Produce reports on fleet status and key performance indicators.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance technicians and pilots.

Qualifications

  • College diploma in aircraft maintenance technology or equivalent
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence - Category M2 (mechanical or avionics)
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office, AMOS)
  • Availability for day and night schedules
  • Bilingualism (French/English) * - Spanish is an asset

Additional information

*A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The person in the role will need to communicate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders, in Quebec and internationally.
