IVVQ Method and Tools Specialist

Job Summary
Within the Test Means and Tools development team, the applicant is responsible, depending on the needs of the IVVQ team, for developing and integrating test bench solutions dedicated to embedded avionics systems. The test bench team delivers its solutions to system engineering departments.
The candidate will play a key role in defining these highly diversified and versatile test benches to be integrated into physical test benches located in our facility or on virtual platforms. In both cases, these platforms include simulated equipment, dedicated user interfaces, real-time data acquisition systems, and product-specific tools. The test bench specialist may also be called upon to participate in test campaigns within the IVVQ team, participate in the development, integration, and support of development and test tools (scripts, databases, etc.)
Essential Functions
- Software integration on physical or virtual test benches
- Modeling and Virtualization of physical aircraft equipment
- Development of tools and acceptance test suites
- Develop test means solutions (benches, support tooling, etc.);
- Develop software, test tools, and scripts;
- Integrate tools/scripts with existing processes
- Develop/complement/document development and test processes
- Define and monitor subcontractors
- Generate documentation associated with test means and tools
- Participate in decision-making meetings for the evolution of test means and tools;
- Support and/or participate in test campaigns;
- Analyze and understand wiring diagrams;
Minimum Requirements
- University degree in electrical, software, or computer engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Experience with hardware and software component integration
- Good organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and French
- Ability to work independently as needed
- Ability to work with export-controlled data
- Programming experience in multiple languages (Python, LabVIEW, Simulink, databases, etc.) is an asset
This position requires a good knowledge of English for writing technical documents, to interact, support, and/or provide services to international clients, employees, and/or partners as well as foreign government authorities who do not speak French.
Desirable Qualification
- Experience in object-oriented programming
- Experience in real-time application programming
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Experience in computer-aided design
- Ability to generate assembly and wiring diagrams for test benches
