About the position

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for an Aircraft Performance Specialist to join our Flight Performance team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Toulouse aircraft performance teams and the Mirabel avionics systems teams.

You will be part of the Flight Performance team responsible for the definition, analysis, and optimization of aircraft performance characteristics. Also ensure compliance with certification requirements and meet operational needs for Airbus Canada aircraft programs.

The team organization is established to promote transversal collaboration autonomously, by supporting each other and learning collectively.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform calculation, analysis, and documentation of certified and/or operational aircraft performance data.
• Provide your aircraft performance expertise to other engineering groups; Participate in the creation and/or updating of aircraft models through analysis and/or review of flight test data.
• Writing and review of technical reports demonstrating compliance with airworthiness regulations.
• Participate in the transformation of Airbus Canada's engineering capabilities by defining new ways of working in a new information management (IM) environment.

Desired Profile

Education: You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, may have a doctorate in engineering directly related to your work.

Experience: You have more than 10 years of relevant experience in aeronautical performance and other related disciplines.

• You have an eye for detail and a good sense of process optimization.
