Job Summary

The flight control system position holder will participate in the design, integration, verification and validation activities of simple and complex functionalities of electric flight control systems for regional and business aircraft as well as in the field of drones and urban air taxis. Ensure that systems meet their functional, performance and certification requirements.

Essential Functions

• In support of the principal architect, in the definition and preliminary design phase, participates in the design of the flight control system architecture that meets customer needs

• Formalizes/Supports the description of flight control functions and architecture through customer requirements or project system architecture.

• Formalizes the specifications and interface documents used to develop the solution / product and ensures the design and development of solution elements.

• Participates in the development and modeling of the flight control system

• Participates in the definition and realization of Solution Integration, Verification & Validation activities

• May be called upon to perform integration activities for our new products at customer sites.

• Develops product data ready to be delivered for production and support.

• Participates in the continuous improvement of our products and methods

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or software engineering with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience

• Experience in the field of design and certification of embedded equipment and systems

• Aeronautical field / Knowledge of flight control systems or other critical embedded control systems

• Modeling / IVV (Simulink Matlab)

• Spoken and written French (able to write reports and communicate effectively)

• Spoken and written English (able to write reports and communicate effectively)

• Good team spirit

This position requires a good knowledge of English for writing technical documents, to interact, support and/or provide services to international clients, employees and/or partners as well as to foreign government authorities who do not speak French.
