Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Our expectations:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic and data-savvy intern to join P&WC AI Center of Excellence (AI COE) team as an Advanced Data Analytics Products & Change Management intern.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The successful candidate will be part of AI projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of Agile methodologies and drive effective change management strategies. This intern will also contribute to further develop and grow the AI COE.

What your day to day will look like:

• The successful co-op candidate will be part of a cross-functional team focused on delivering PoCs and MVPs using data science and organizational change management skills.
• You will be part of the delivery team applying agile framework and organizational change management skills, while also working closely with the data science and business teams, to apply your skills to real business problems.
• Specializing in areas such as process optimization, predictive analytics and materials management science, you will play an important role in delivering a business transformation through advanced analytics. You will be key to the execution of the use case, acting as a bridge between the business and the analytics specialists, measuring and sharing insights with stakeholders and collecting inputs to verify analytics results. Your role will also include supporting the change management team with process documentation, building training packages and plans, and KPI measurement.

What do you need to be successful?

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Engineering; Industrial, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering; or Commerce.
• Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
• A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the [candidate] will interact.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Superior organizational skills to drive multiple project simultaneously.
• The ability to learn fast and adapt quickly.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Project Management.
• Foundational knowledge of change management popular frameworks.
• Highly skilled in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

Assets

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Agile project management experience or certification.
• Project management skills.
• Product Management experience or certification.
• Change management experience.Business process management and optimization.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and under pressure with competing and varying priorities.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
