Internship dates: January 5th to April 23th, 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

The intern will contribute to data analysis to support strategic decision-making, improve data management processes, and optimize operations using advanced analytical tools and automation platforms.

What will your day-to-day look like?

The data analyst intern will be responsible for:

  • Collecting and analyzing business needs and documenting requirements.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements by mapping processes, identifying bottlenecks and suggesting automation.
  • Analyzing trends and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Using the Microsoft Power Platform suite (including Power BI, Power Automate, and other tools) to create interactive reports, dashboards, and automate processes.
  • Participating in the implementation and optimization of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines and data management processes.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to integrate APIs, leverage Databricks for data processing operations, and ensure effective data management.
  • Contributing to the improvement of user experience (UI/UX) for dashboards and reports.
  • Maintaining clear and structured documentation.
  • Training users and supporting implementation by gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Experience in data management, ETL pipelines, and API integration.
  • Basic front-end design (UI/UX) for dashboards and knowledge of Agile methodologies are a plus.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
