Internship dates: January 5 to April 23, 2027

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • This internship within Pratt & Whitney Canada’s Strategic Planning team offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of the company’s strategic and execution plan.
  • The scope will consider global geopolitical trends and macroeconomic factors to help shape future business direction. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with team members and cross-functional stakeholders. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, developing forecasting models, and supporting the continuous improvement of strategic planning processes.
  • This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic aerospace business environment, offering valuable exposure to strategic thinking, analytical tools, and collaborative decision-making.
  • Collaborative teamwork and personal autonomy
  • Skills to be developed: analytics, marketing, business case building, presenting to management
  • Play a role in investment decisions
  • Develop the data structure and analytical models in order to support the team's key deliverables of market studies and 5-10 year forecast plans. The expected benefits include improved analysis/forecast granularity and accuracy

What do you need to be successful?

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Excellent communication skills in French or English (spoken/written).

Assets:

  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
  • The selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn how to effectively use the following software: Excel (Pivot Table, Power Query, VBA), R, Python, Power BI.

This position is within a French-speaking workplace; however, it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may originate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
