Internship dates: January 5th to April 23th , 2027.
Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location, internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

We support the engineers by providing high quality financial visibility and guidance to deliver on project milestones within budget while sustaining robust internal controls.
Profile for the job
Detail-oriented professional with strong skills in finance and information technology, combined with the ability to work in both English and French. Able to work independently, with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality financial reporting and supporting data-driven decision-making.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Develop and enhance automated Power BI reporting tools to improve variance analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and report Engineering finance department expenses using Excel, PBI and SAP.
- Support month-end activities, including journal entries.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and financial reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the Engineering Finance team.
What do you need to be successful?
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
- Strong interest in combining finance and IT systems.
- Proficient in Power BI, Excel.
- Good communication skills in French and English (written and spoken).
- Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
