Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Do you have knowledge or experience in lean and agile development, and its various concepts such as Scrum, Kanban, and Stories, and tools such as JIRA; or are you are interested and passionate about programming and automation? Come join our team to help us implement our roadmap toward more agile and efficient development of our engine control systems, with the goal of providing more value for our customers. As an engineering student, you will work under the supervision of one of our engineers and will be responsible for one or more initiatives to improve our already existing development tools, evaluate the use of new tools, or assist in improving our desktop simulation platform which will allow us to improve our iterative approach to software development.
What will your day-to-day look like?
The selected candidate will be actively participating to one of the following projects:
- Develop a Graphical User Interface for a tool that automates test execution on hardware and virtual test benches.
- Develop an automated tool to calibrate our hardware test benches.
- Improve our simulation wrapper models running on hardware test benches to add a virtual component (hardware – virtual hybrid).
- Evaluate existing tools in our engine control development process and create change requests to make them more agile or more connected and participate to the implementation of those change requests.
- Participate in a Proof-of-Concept project to fully automate the engine control system verification process from test request to test execution on a bench, test data generation, results verification, and configuration management.
What do you need to be successful?
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in software or computer engineering
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken/written).
Assets:
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
- Knowledge of C# or C++
- Knowledge of web programming languages and continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CICD)
Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
