Flexible Schedule: Schedule to be discussed, on-site presence required 5 days per week.

Our Expectations:

The chosen intern will support ongoing projects related to the improvement of business systems and processes used by the indirect procurement team. Our projects are varied and cover all procurement activities of a large enterprise. The complexity and progression of tasks are established according to the candidate's strengths, interests, field of study, and experience, as well as current priorities. We hold weekly follow-up meetings and offer a quality experience greatly appreciated by our interns for years.

What your daily work will look like:

  • Participate or coordinate review and process improvement sessions prior to changes.
  • Test, adjust, or create work instructions, forms, and process mapping.
  • Keep documents and links available on our intranet site up to date.
  • Support data compliance validation activities.
  • Participate in pre- and post-system implementation steps (Ariba, SAP Hana, VMS, ...).
  • Support process maturity assessment and risk analysis.
  • Work closely with the entire team on ad hoc tasks.

What you need to succeed:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university for the duration of your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired, if applicable.
  • Degree in progress in Engineering, Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or Computer Science.
  • Excellent French communication skills (spoken/written).
  • Problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
  • Office suite with Intermediate-Advanced Excel and Word level.

  • Power BI knowledge.
  • Project management.
  • A good knowledge of the English language, both written and oral, is required to meet the operational needs of the employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact.

This position takes place in a francophone work environment, however, it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.
