Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

This position is part of the Supply chain quality team. There are two parts to this job:
- The intern will work with Senior Engineers in multidisciplinary teams from Pratt & Whitney and its suppliers to solve control system quality issues.
- The intern will work to develop new data analysis tools and to maintain existing data bases.

What your day to day will look like?
- Active support of investigations (e.g. participation in investigation meetings, documenting investigation tasks and plotting and analysis of data).
- There will be training sessions on engine components.
- Maintain and improve the tools allowing the service to create and analyze quality data, as well as to carry out several types of data manipulation.
- Propose new methods of analysis and automation through programming knowledge and access to various databases.
- Manage the monitoring of projects through performance indicators.
What you need to be successful?
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering. Other engineering fields will also be considered.
- Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
Assets:
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written).
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
- Project management skills.
- Software experience: Power BI, Excel VBA and Python (Machine learning).
- Experience in: Data analytics, Machine Learning, Programming.
Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
