Internship dates: January 5 to April 23, 2027

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Why join our team?

The intern will be part of the Business Development Digital Solutions team, reporting to the Customer Registration and Master Data (CMD) Manager. CMD is a multicultural team with motivated analysts and project managers, located in Quebec and India.

This position is focused on generating value through data, implementing business processes improvement, and supporting the deployment of innovative digital tools. The candidate will actively participate in projects that impact employees and external customers experience.

Tasks complexity and progression will be adapted to the candidate strengths, interests, field of study and experience, as well as the team on-going priorities. Expect weekly follow-up meetings throughout the semester to ensure learning progression and meaningful work experience.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Develop or maintain business intelligence dashboards summarizing information from large, external and internal structured databases for our internal customers;
  • Compare data from various sources to establish data quality issues; define steps to re-evaluate data quality post-correction;
  • Assist with the analysis necessary to implement streamlined and scalable data governance rules;
  • Support the maintenance of the organization's dashboards according to the rules defined by our main analyst; review the existing documentation on maintenance steps;
  • Compare external and internal database data on engine fleet and customers to determine the recommended usage for each given situation;
  • Respond to requests from strategic business unit employees for industry and competitive analysis, guided by our main analyst;
  • Participate into enterprise-level initiatives on master data management systems, processes and compliance (example: customer consent management);
  • Work with the entire team on ad hoc tasks.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in analytics, business analytics, data management, information management, data science, computer science, or any other relevant field
  • Candidates experienced with data manipulation and dashboards creation will be favored
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and attentive to details: able to triangulate data, trends and secondary ideas and make recommendations
  • Experience with POWER BI or comparable tool
  • Capable of manipulating data extracted in MS-Excel

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
