Internship dates: January 5th to April 23th , 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Reporting to the manager of the projects management office and continues improvement for the operations logistics, the incumbent will have to provide support to projects focused on improving the operational efficiency of a complex and just-in-time worldwide supply chain network and support to daily operations. The application areas of the projects are:

  • Customs logistics.
  • Distribution logistics (internal and external).
  • Packaging Materials Engineering.
  • Logistics infrastructure improvement.
  • Warehousing logistics and inventory control.

The position is located at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Take charge of and autonomously complete projects of different sizes having direct impacts on our logistics operations and the optimization of our business processes.
  • Support project managers in the execution of specific tasks of ongoing projects such as:
  • Collection of requirements and technical data.
  • Impact and cost-effectiveness analyses.
  • Production of action plans and meeting reports.
  • Communication of the progress of projects.
  • Follow specific project tasks and actions.
  • Participation and responsibility for the implementation of new performance indicators
  • Participate in optimizing the transfer across our various sites
  • Support the deployment of the new continuous improvement operating system ("Core", Lean/Six-sigma equivalent).
  • Perform day-to-day operations support tasks.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, logistics, supply chain, business intelligence, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing industrial logistics projects with tangible deliverables.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Flexible to adjust priorities based on client needs.
  • Ability to work effectively with different departments.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and customer focus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP, Power BI, and Access .
  • Able to work on-site in the province where you are hired, if applicable.
  • A good knowledge of the French language, both written and spoken.

Asset

  • Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with competing and changing priorities.
  • Certification in project management or continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of the aeronautics industry

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
