Internship dates: January 5th to April 23th, 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil, Quebec Headquarters; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Our expectations:

The candidate will be supporting the customer engineer on a day-to-day basis and working on preparing the entry into service of new program. Several of these tasks will develop the candidate’s knowledge on the engine and the steps required to introduce a new product in service.

This role will require several interactions with different groups within the organization, therefore the candidate will need to independently connect with the different teams and build relationships to advance and complete his tasks. In addition, we are constantly looking for ways to optimize our working methods therefore the candidate is expected to work with the digital teams and put in place solutions to increase the team’s efficiency.

What your day-to-day will look like?

  • Manage Line Maintenance and Overhaul Tools needed for entry into service of new engine programs.
  • Track tooling cost and budget allocated.
  • Maintained tool list – Design & Make status with revisions.
  • Validate new tooling and document tool revisions.
  • Support Customer Engineer with documentation of Engine Maintenance Manual Validation instructions.
  • Track EMM Data Module to be validated as they are released in the EMM Preliminary.
  • Support Customer Engineer with engine request for tests needed to define workscope instruction for the Maintenance Manual Instruction (e.g. Rotor Blend Repairs, Compressor Wash, Engine preservation, etc.).
  • Assist with data mining in PowerBI and excel macros.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.

Assets:

  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
  • Project management skills.
