Internship dates: January 5th to April 23rd, 2027.
Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Why join our team ?
The candidate will be a full-fledged member of the transmission housing team. Under the supervision of experienced analysts and in accordance with deadlines, priorities, and the candidate’s qualifications, preferences, and level of autonomy, the candidate will assist and support the team on various projects related to transmission housings, with a primary focus on continuous improvement. The candidate will be expected to support various research projects, which may include, among others, a research project on segmented seals. If you are a professional capable of working fairly independently and wish to develop in-depth knowledge of the field and the role of a transmission engineer, we invite you to apply.
What your day to day will look like ?
- Support the development and characterization of segmented seals.
- Update process documents, databases, and methodologies.
- Validate new analytical methods.
- Collect data from maintenance and repair workshops.
- Support ongoing research projects within the transmission housing team.
What you need to be successful ?
Must haves:
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
- Pursuing a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering bachelor– minimum of 2 years is required
- Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken/written).

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
