Internship dates: January 5th to April 23th , 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

The P&WC engine programs are powering 5 engine markets: Regional turboprop aircrafts, General aviation aircrafts, Business jets aircrafts, Helicopters and Auxiliary power systems on larger aircrafts, which help connecting people and economies around the world.

We’re looking for an Intern who will be responsible for supporting accessories product reliability improvement projects across the various programs market segments as well as continuous improvements initiatives.

What will your day-to-day look like?

The intern will mainly be supporting/leading accessories reliability improvement initiatives by:

  • Achieving an overall understanding of the Program Accessory reliability data.
  • Conduct effectively product analyses to determine root cause and corrective action plan.
  • Review Reliability data, identify gaps to contractual requirements, and establish action plan in collaboration with the subject matter experts.
  • Identify Systemic issues across the Programs and recommend corrective action plan in collaboration with the subject matter experts.
  • The intern will also be responsible for supporting continuous improvement activities such as: optimizing processes, defining and implementing efficiency improvement opportunities and supporting ongoing digital transformation projects within the department.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in a Mechanical or Aeronautical engineer Bachelor/Master program.
  • Good knowledge of tools (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, ENOVIA PLM, SAP, Power BI, Microsoft CRM etc.).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
