Location: The position is based at our XXXXX location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Why join our team?

Within the logistics team, you will be responsible for tracking current and upcoming experimental and production purchase orders. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with our internal and external clients to successfully complete our projects. Through your ability to collaborate and positively influence others, you will contribute to maintaining a high level of manufacturing performance.

What will your day look like?

• Ensure follow-up of manufacturing work orders.
• Provide follow-up to development engineering and upper management on progress of critical parts.
• Process new manufacturig requests and introduce them to the production line.
• Provide manufacturing quotes to development engineering group.
• Participate in technical discussions on manufacturing procedures.

What do you need to be successful?

• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
• Capacity to provide excellent customer support.
• Knowledge of the MS office suite (Excel);
• Knowledge of SAP (bonus);
• Well organized.
• Teamwork, autonomous, good communication, attention to detail.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
