Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Autonomous Production Team Leader (REAP).
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Autonomous Production Unit Manager (RUAP), the REAP is responsible for ensuring the team achieves its results in terms of health and safety, quality, costs, and deadlines. Their mission is to support their team in achieving objectives and guaranteeing internal and external customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety rules and implement necessary corrective measures;
Analyze the workload and distribute it within the team to ensure maximum performance and engagement;
Act as a contact point and technical authority for the team and other departments;
Resolve technical difficulties during production operations;
Monitor and control tasks to prevent defects and non-conformities;
Support team members on a daily basis (problem solving, technical support, motivation);
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects.
Job Requirements
Academic Background: High School Diploma (DES) and Vocational Specialization Attestation (ASP) in Structural Assembly or equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of production experience. Any equivalent combination of experience and training will be considered.
Specific Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of structural assembly and systems installation;
Mastery of aeronautical technical language and blueprint reading;
Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook and Excel) and work documents (IP/BAPS);
Experience in personnel management (an asset);
Ability to maintain good team spirit and demonstrate leadership;
Recognized oral and written communication skills, good motivator, team builder, capable of demonstrating pedagogy and authority;
French-English bilingualism is an asset.
Working Conditions
Physical Effort: no physical effort required.
Physical Work Environment: The position is a combination of office work and presence on the factory floor, in direct contact with production teams. Strict adherence to health and safety rules is essential.
Schedule: Evening: Monday to Thursday (2:20 PM - 12:50 AM)
