Job description

Do you have experience as a production supervisor, have you worked in a pre-flight or delivery sector, and are you looking to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Production Supervisor - Pre-flight and Delivery on the day shift to join our Customer Line team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the Customer Line Operations team responsible for engine tests, flight phases, and aircraft delivery. The team's organization promotes autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.

Your role will be to lead a production team, mainly composed of mechanical, avionics, and assembly technicians, for the customer sector.

Your challenges

  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values.

  • Work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines.

  • Manage team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Manage workload and individual performance of unionized employees.

  • Ensure continuous improvement, particularly through problem-solving processes.

  • Coach your team (15–25 employees) to develop their talent within the organization.

  • Identify, document, and standardize key processes to achieve objectives.

  • Optimize knowledge and best-practice sharing across the organization.

Your profile

  • Management experience in a unionized environment, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace.

  • Excellent management skills and strong leadership, judgment and flexibility.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Good understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Files, Sheets, Docs).

  • Fluent in French and English.
