The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Supervisor Technical Data - Cargo & Cabin to join our Customer Services organization based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).

You will be part of the Technical Publications team producing and distributing, in all media formats, the technical documentation related to the maintenance of A220 aircraft as well as service bulletins.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Supervisor Technical Data - Cargo & Cabine will be to effectively manage and lead the multi-functional customer-facing team, and oversee the completion of multiple projects and objectives within the Technical Publications organization.

Your challenges:

  • Establish and maintain a coaching and mentorship program for team members to promote professional development and ensure continuity of expertise within the Technical Data team;

  • Act as the definitive point of escalation for operational, schedule, and customer-facing issues within the team, coordinating effective resolutions with internal stakeholders and external business partners;

  • Establish and maintain coordination of deliverables from suppliers, business partners, and service providers (through Business Process Outsourcing; BPO);

  • Manage the definition and production of maintenance data for related publications;

  • Perform all employee-related management tasks: recruitment, management, periodic evaluations, and communication;

  • Represent Technical Publications at different phases of engineering product development;

  • Ensure all deliverables meet the operational unit's objectives;

  • Ensure the continuous improvement of related processes and tools by considering feedback and needs from internal and external customers;

  • You will be responsible for achieving the BPO initiative's objectives and the continuous improvement of associated processes and tools;

  • You will be responsible for communicating BPO performance to internal stakeholders through governance reports and/or presentations.

Your boarding pass:

  • You hold a college degree in aerospace or the equivalent, combined with a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in technical publications;

  • You have a solid understanding of aerospace technical publications processes and tools. Experience in business process outsourcing (BPO) and a distributed authoring environment is essential;

  • You have experience in managing a team (an asset);

  • You have an understanding of the latest standards, technologies, and trends in the aerospace sector (a major asset);

  • You have a strong business acumen and you excel in providing exceptional customer service;

  • You have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as an ability to positively influence others;

  • You demonstrate strong core values and leadership qualities;

  • You have strong communication skills (both oral and written) - it's essential to facilitate relationships with service providers and internal stakeholders;

  • You have a perfect command of French and English (spoken and written).

This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide).
