About the project

AAA Canada is looking for a proactive Production Supervisor to join its team in Mirabel for weekends.

Responsibilities

• Exercise your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values;
• Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
• Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
• Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees;
• Ensure continuous improvement, notably with the application of the problem-solving process;
• Coach your team (15-25 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
• Identify, document and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
• Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the organization.

Your profile:

• You have at least five (5) years of management experience in a unionized environment, ideally in the manufacturing or aerospace industry;
• You have excellent management skills;
• You demonstrate strong leadership, judgment, flexibility and are able to work with minimal supervision;
• You are results-oriented, capable of meeting tight deadlines and comfortable working under pressure, and you have a sense of urgency;
• You have strong communication skills; You have a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement;
• You are fluent in French and English.
• Possibility of on-call duty during vacation periods.
