Supply Supervisor

MHIRJ is the result of the merger of two important legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We offer complete operational, engineering and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical documentation, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We are looking for a Supply Supervisor to join our team!

Job Summary

MHI RJ Aviation is looking for an intelligent, curious Supply Supervisor who loves challenges and problem-solving to improve people's lives. You will collaborate with a flexible, dynamic and close-knit team, while providing supervision.

Your contribution as a supply supervisor

• Plan, organize, direct and control all aspects of your responsibilities. Use necessary skills to prioritize, assign and coordinate workloads in the sector and among assigned employees in a multi-project environment.
• Act as a team lead for procurement agents. Provide mentoring, coaching and management support to the team.
• Use various software tools such as Word, Excel and others for business transactions and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively, provide updates, influence and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
• Negotiate and manage sales activities to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Find solutions and provide support for aircraft return to service or resolve supply-related problems to meet customer expectations.
• Align daily operations with MHI RJ Aviation's strategic priorities while respecting the company's values and leadership competencies.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in business administration and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of team supervision experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English is required, as the successful candidate will regularly communicate with colleagues, clients or partners outside Quebec.
• Experience in a dynamic environment is essential.
• Knowledge of SAP applications is an important asset, as is proficiency in word processors, spreadsheets, databases, emails and web applications.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft types.
• Basic understanding of accounting and budgetary principles, enabling reading and interpretation of income statements, financial reports and achieving financial objectives of assigned sectors and programs.
• Practical knowledge of aviation requirements and regulations is a major asset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a wide diversity of staff, departments, clients, suppliers and managers.
• Occasional travel may be required.
