The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Methods Supervisor to join our Methods team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.

In your role, you will be expected to:
Exert your leadership while respecting the vision and values of the company;
Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
Manage your team performance using KPI's;
Define the strategies of the manufacturing plan;
Plan and co-ordinate the first article inspections (FAI);
Identify production requirements and optimize proce sses (Eliminate non-value added);
In this role, you will be required to:
Exercise leadership in accordance with the company's vision and values.
Be able to work under pressure and commit your team to meeting strict deadlines.
Manage your team's performance using KPIs.
Define manufacturing plan strategies.
Plan and coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI).
Define the evolution of ground tests.
Identify production needs and optimize processes (Eliminate non-value-added activities).
Define requirements and develop the manufacturing plan, such as:
Training and qualification.
Tooling, Fabrication, and assembly.
Plant layout, environment, health and safety, ergonomics.
Responsible for providing assembly workers with the appropriate work instruction.
Plan methods, activities and track progress.
Responsible of ANDON process
Participate in benchmarking and best practices to ensure progression towards world-class standards.
Coach your team (10-15 employees) to develop their talent within the organization.
As our ideal candidate,
Educational and/or technical background in aerospace or in management with approximately ten (10) years of experience.
You show very strong leadership, judgment, flexibility, and are able to work with minimum supervision;
You have been successful in managing technical projects to ensure optimal industrialization of product.
Strong inter-relationship skills.
