Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its next Methods Supervisor to support UAP.
Position summary:
The Methods Supervisor will be responsible for a team composed of methods agents who report directly to them. The Methods Supervisor will report to the Methods Manager. In this role, the main task is to liaise with Production to provide technical support to production operators and to master an assembly line in terms of industrialization and assembly.
Your challenges:
- Coordinate and organize the different activities of the team.
- Ensure that priorities are respected by the team under their responsibility.
- Ensure the team delivers all their deliverables within cost, quality and time objectives.
- Set up, maintain, monitor and communicate indicators that demonstrate team performance (e.g. OTD, EVM, FTR).
- Ensure the technical scope is respected according to customer requirements and program, manufacturing and industrialization needs.
- Support the team as needed on technical issues and during decision-making.
- Ensure the development of employees and conduct individual meetings with them.
- Organize and maintain good cohesion within the group.
- Prepare and present projects for validation with different functions.
- Lead meetings and keep various tracking files up to date.
- Prepare and present progress reports at different management levels.
- Ensure adherence to department budgets.
- Develop risk management plans including mitigation plans.
- Participate in problem resolution and recovery plans.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

Your profile:
- Holder of a college diploma (DEC) in aeronautics. A bachelor's degree in a technical or management field is an asset.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years' experience in methods, with solid experience in the aerospace sector and support for medium-series production.
- Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools...)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to use and interpret aerospace standards.
- Ability to create a manufacturing routing and/or interpret one.
- Mastery of the principles of tolerancing and dimension chains.
- Knowledge of basic parts would be a plus.
- Proactive, rigorous and responsive. Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
- Good interpersonal skills, leadership and the ability to adapt communication to argue courteously and pedagogically.
