Main responsibilities
- Monitor the progress of production work and develop catch-up plans with the entire autonomous natural production team;
- Monitor major parts and components with purchasing according to the nominal flow as well as overconsumption;
- Be the central point for all short-term planning;
- Monitor the execution of on-site suppliers and partners and ensure good coordination of these through normal operations;
- Advise the Production Manager on various aspects, including catch-up plans and prioritization of off-post work across the assembly line to secure critical paths;
- Secure the production line by applying an entry barrier to major components if remaining work impacts normal operations;
- Secure deliveries by applying robust and structured coordination at the end of the line just before delivery;
- Ensure these follow-ups on evening and weekend shifts in addition to the normal work shift;
- Exercise your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values;
- Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
- Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
- Manage employee workload and individual performance;
- Ensure continuous improvement, notably with the application of the problem resolution process in case of relevant problems;
- Coach your team (9 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
- Identify, document and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
- Ensure that all team members understand their role and performance in achieving the operations plan.
Desired profile
- You hold a college or university degree in a related field;
- You have a minimum of two years of management experience in the planning, manufacturing or aerospace sectors;
- You demonstrate excellent team and project management skills;
- You demonstrate strong leadership, judgment, flexibility and great autonomy;
- You have a sense of urgency, are results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure;
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills;
- You master the principles of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement;
- You are perfectly fluent in French and English (bilingualism).
