Main Responsibilities
- Monitor production progress and develop catch-up plans with the entire autonomous production team;
- Track parts and major components with purchasing according to nominal flow and overconsumption;
- Act as the central point for all short-term planning;
- Monitor the execution of suppliers and partners on site and ensure their proper coordination through normal operations;
- Advise the Production Manager on various aspects, including catch-up plans and out-of-station work prioritizations across the assembly line to secure critical paths;
- Secure the production line by applying an entry barrier on major components if remaining work impacts normal operations;
- Secure deliveries by applying robust and structured coordination at the end of the line just before delivery;
- Ensure these follow-ups on evening and weekend shifts in addition to the normal work shift;
- Exercise leadership while respecting the company's vision and values;
- Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
- Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
- Manage workload and individual employee performance;
- Ensure continuous improvement, particularly with the application of the problem-solving process for relevant issues;
- Coach your team (9 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
- Identify, document, and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
- Ensure that all team members understand their role and performance in achieving the operations plan.
Profile Sought
- You hold a college or university diploma in a related field;
- You possess a minimum of two years of management experience in the planning, manufacturing, or aerospace sectors;
- You demonstrate excellent team and project management skills;
- You show strong leadership, judgment, flexibility, and great autonomy;
- You have a sense of urgency, are results-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure;
- You possess solid communication and negotiation skills;
- You master the principles of Lean production (Lean Manufacturing) and continuous improvement;
- You are perfectly fluent in French and English (bilingualism).
