Job Description

The challenges:

  • Monitor the progress of production work and develop catch-up plans with the entire autonomous production team;
  • Track major parts and components with purchasing according to nominal flow as well as overconsumption;
  • Be the central point for all short-term planning;
  • Monitor the execution of on-site suppliers and partners and ensure good coordination of these throughout normal operations;
  • Advise the Production Manager on various aspects, including catch-up plans and prioritization of off-station work across the assembly line to secure critical paths;
  • Secure the production line by applying an entry barrier to major components if remaining work impacts normal operations;
  • Secure deliveries by applying robust and structured coordination at the end of the line just before delivery;
  • Ensure these follow-ups on evening and weekend shifts in addition to the normal work shift;
  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values;
  • Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
  • Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
  • Manage workload and individual employee performance;
  • Ensure continuous improvement, notably with the application of the problem-solving process for relevant issues;
  • Coach your team (9 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
  • Identify, document, and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
  • Ensure all team members understand their role and performance in achieving the operations plan.

Requirements

The profile:

  • You hold a college or university degree in a related field;
  • You have a minimum of two years of management experience in planning, manufacturing, or aerospace sectors;
  • You demonstrate excellent team and project management skills;
  • You show strong leadership, judgment, flexibility, and great autonomy;
  • You have a sense of urgency, are results-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure;
  • You possess strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • You are proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement;
  • You are perfectly fluent in French and English (bilingualism).
