The challenges:

  • Monitor the progress of production work and develop catch-up plans with the entire autonomous natural production team;
  • Track parts and major components with purchasing according to nominal flow as well as overconsumption;
  • Be the central point for all short-term planning;
  • Monitor the execution of suppliers and partners on site and ensure good coordination of them through normal operations;
  • Advise the Production Manager on various aspects, including catch-up plans and prioritizations of off-station work across the assembly line to secure the various critical paths;
  • Secure the production line by applying an entry barrier on major components if remaining work impacts normal operations;
  • Secure deliveries by applying robust and structured coordination at the end of the line just before delivery;
  • Ensure these follow-ups on evening and weekend shifts in addition to the normal work shift;
  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of the company;
  • Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
  • Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
  • Manage workload and individual employee performance;
  • Ensure continuous improvement, notably with the application of the problem-solving process in case of relevant problems;
  • Coach your team (9 employees) to develop their talent within the organization;
  • Identify, document, and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
  • Ensure that all team members understand their role and performance in achieving the operations plan.

The profile:

  • You hold a college or university diploma in a related field;
  • You have a minimum of two years of management experience in the planning, manufacturing, or aerospace sectors;
  • You demonstrate excellent team and project management skills;
  • You show strong leadership, judgment, flexibility, and great autonomy;
  • You have a sense of urgency, are results-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure;
  • You possess solid communication and negotiation skills;
  • You master the principles of Lean production (Lean Manufacturing) and continuous improvement;
  • You have a fluent mastery of French and English (bilingualism).
