Responsibilities:

• Ensure productivity and quality objectives are met, and that human and material resources are used efficiently;
• Supervise a work team of approximately 25 employees;
• Ensure health and safety rules and procedures at work are respected;
• Ensure the management and professional development of the team;
• Participate actively in work planning and organization meetings;
• Create and maintain harmonious and effective relationships with the team and other company departments.

Profile Sought

• DEC in administration or another relevant discipline
• 5 years of team management experience
• Experience in a unionized environment
• Leadership
• Excellent communicator and good team player
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools, an asset
• Bilingualism, an asset
• Customer-oriented
• Ability to set priorities
• Delegation skills
