Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Projects Supervisor. In your main role, you will be in contact with the various sectors of the company to ensure the proper monitoring of all company projects.
As the Supervisor of the Projects team, you will be responsible for a team of project managers who will report directly to you. In your duties, your main task will be to ensure the proper monitoring of projects, from definition to acquisition. Your daily work must be done while respecting health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
You will mainly have to, but not limited to:
● Manage incoming and outgoing items for the Projects Department
● Plan and prioritize employee workloads
● Master and enforce department procedures
● Ensure the delivery of various deliverables while respecting cost, quality, and time objectives.
● Implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and communication of indicators used to demonstrate team performance (e.g., OTD, EVM, FTR).
● Ensure that the technical scope is well respected according to client requirements, program needs, manufacturing, and industrialization.
● Support your team on technical issues and during decision-making when needed.
● Ensure employee development and conduct individual meetings with them.
● Organize and maintain good cohesion within the group.
● Prepare and present projects for validation with various functions.
● Lead meetings and keep various monitoring files up to date.
● Prepare and present progress status reports to various management levels.
● Ensure compliance with your department's budgets.
● Develop risk management plans including mitigation plans.
● Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.
● Promote occupational health and safety as well as company values.

DESIRED PROFILE
Academic background:
● You have a college diploma (technical) or university degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautics, or any other relevant diploma
● PMP Certificate


Experience:
● Experience in project management
● Management experience
● Experience in the aeronautics sector (an asset) and in medium-batch production support


Special requirements:
● Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of simple or complex assembly tooling, capability analysis tools, etc.)
● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
● Ability to manage a budget, forecast, and anticipate fluctuations
● Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards (an asset)
● Master tolerances and chain of dimensions principles (an asset)
● Knowledge of elementary parts would be a plus
● Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office
● Proactive approach
● Team spirit, responsiveness, and rigor
● French & English: spoken & written
