Your challenges
Exert your leadership while respecting the company's vision and values.
Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines.
Manage your team performance using KPIs.
Manage the union employees' workload and individual performance.
Ensure continuous improvement, notably with the application of the problem resolution process.
Coach your team (15–25 employees) to develop their talent within the organisation.
Identify, document and standardise key processes leading to the achievement of objectives.
Optimise the sharing of knowledge and best practices throughout the organisation.
Your profile
Management experience in a unionised environment, in manufacturing (quality department is an asset) or ideally in the aerospace industry.
Excellent management skills.
Strong leadership, judgement, flexibility and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Results oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and comfortable working under pressure; sense of urgency.
Strong communication skills.
Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Proficient in French and English.
