Quality Supervisor (Evening Shift)

You have experience in Quality, you have worked in the manufacturing field and you want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Quality Supervisor (Evening Shift) to join our quality team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the Quality team and your role as a Quality Supervisor (Evening Shift):

• Exercise your leadership in compliance with the company's vision and values;
• Be able to work under pressure and engage your team to meet strict deadlines;
• Manage your team's performance using KPIs;
• Manage the workload and individual performance of unionized employees;
• Ensure continuous improvement, particularly with the application of the problem-solving process;
• Coach your team (15-25 employees) to develop their talent in the organization;
• Identify, document and standardize key processes leading to the achievement of objectives;
• Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices throughout the organization;

As the ideal candidate:

• You have management experience in a unionized environment, in the manufacturing field (quality department is an asset) or the aerospace industry ideally;
• You have excellent management skills;
• You show leadership, judgment, flexibility and are able to work with a minimum of supervision;
• You are results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and comfortable working under pressure and you have a sense of urgency;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You have a good understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement;
• You are fluent in French and English;
