Your contribution as Supervisor, Pricing:
Pricing Governance & Operations
- Own the pricing governance framework for all clusters—ensuring consistent standards for review, escalation and execution of Syncron Price outcomes.
- Define and publish a pricing policy framework; set floor prices, discount authority levels and exception approval thresholds by channel and customer tier.
- Define and maintain pricing decision rights, approval workflows and analyst responsibilities at all levels.
- Oversee the end-to-end process for rule-based and AI-supported pricing recommendations.

- Drive continuous improvement of pricing automation, workflows and decision intelligence.
Use of AI
- Establish and govern a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) operating model for AI-generated pricing recommendations.
- Define analyst intervention criteria for AI models, ensure transparency of AI recommendations, and lead model performance monitoring and accountability.
- Collaborate with Data Science as the business owner of AI models—define input data, validate functional requirements and approve model production deployments.
- Own the AI-in-pricing feature roadmap; prioritize use cases, define acceptance criteria and manage the transition from rule-based pricing to AI-augmented pricing by cluster.
- Define model refresh cadence and drift monitoring standards to ensure AI-generated pricing recommendations remain aligned with business realities.
Pricing Strategy
- Lead commercial pricing strategy for lifecycle management, channel governance, SPA frameworks and competitive positioning.
- Drive price segmentation strategy—determine how pricing varies by customer tier, channel, region and contract type to maximize realized margin.
- Lead voice-of-the-customer pricing research and competitive benchmarking to identify value-creation opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance on program pricing, PBH/TBH structures and annual execution of the global price list.
- Provide commercial intelligence and pricing analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Leadership & Capability Development
- Coach, mentor and develop pricing analysts at all levels—strengthen AI literacy, commercial acumen and Syncron/SAP system expertise.
- Create a culture of analytical rigor, data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
