Job offer: CMM Quality Inspector

About the mandate
Do you want to evolve in a high-precision manufacturing environment and contribute directly to product quality? This mandate will allow you to play a key role in CMM inspection and programming activities within a dynamic quality team.
As a CMM quality support technician, you will intervene at different stages of the production cycle to ensure part conformity, support operational teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Main responsibilities
- Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections (FAI)
- Analyze measurement results and validate part conformity according to specifications
- Interpret 2D/3D technical drawings and GD&T tolerances
- Support production and quality teams in problem-solving
- Participate in quality investigations and non-conformity analysis
- Ensure traceability and documentation of inspections
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection processes
Job requirements
- College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CMM programming and/or operation
- Experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 standard and GD&T principles
- Good ability to read technical plans (2D and 3D)
- Rigor, attention to detail and analytical mind
- Ability to work in a team and manage priorities
Assets
- Experience with Zeiss CMM (Calypso software)
- Experience in visual inspection (microscope, surface finish)
- Experience in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 or similar)
